Tatiana was very grateful for the girl’s hospitality, as well as the fact that she happened to stumbled across someone who appeared to understand her current situation quite well. She held on tightly (but not too tight) as the new girl guided her along, even though she knew her way in and out of the castle it was still nice to feel taken care of.
She hesitated when the girl led her to a whole new table; as far as she was told and aware they were meant to stick to their house tables, but as she looked around she could see a few people scattered around the room that weren’t where they were technically supposed to be, so she just went with it. And when it came to the food; well, she didn’t need to be told twice. She hadn’t eaten any breakfast or hardly anything throughout the day, meaning she was starving as she quickly loaded her plate and dug in, chewing and swallowing quickly but as politely as she could.
Lorraine smiled as the girl began to eat. She herself was stuffing a croissant into her mouth, one bite at a time. The flavor was delicious, and she dipped the end into a bowl of strawberry flavored yogurt. Now her taste buds were happy, and she picked up another one and continued to dip and then eat.
When her attention went back to the girl, she looked somewhat more happier than she had when he brought her in. She smiled, still chewing. When she swallowed, she finally spoke up. “Feel better? Fruit is supposed to make you feel happier.”
There wasn’t that much food left over, just bits and pieces of all sorts of things, most of them an attempt at demonstrating a healthy desert. However, there was still a small pot that was almost empty but still filled with some stew, so she poured that only her plate, finishing it up frighteningly quickly for a girl of her size, even using bread to wipe her plate clean when she finished, then stuffing those pieces into her mouth as well.
After that, she finished off with some fruit salad, and finally with a few cues of chocolate that had been scattered around the table in miniature bowls. Unlike the rest of her meal, she chose to nibble on these slowly, savoring their sweet, concentrated flavor.

Tatiana sort of just froze when she felt the other girl touch her. SHe couldn’t remember the last time a stranger had been so nice to her, except for when she was a little girl and people would give her free dolls and sweets for being cute. She looked up at the other girl with her round blue eyes as if she was asking her ‘what kind of angel are you?’.
No one else would have done this for her, of that she was sure. She could understand everything the other girl was saying perfectly; she just wasn’t exactly sure how to and with what to reply. “Thanks you” she breathed, standing up on her extremely long, thin and shaky legs, she someone resembled a baby deer, only bigger. “O-okay” she said, nodding at the other girl in agreement.
Lorraine knew the girl was with the program, so she understood her english wasn’t perfect, meaning she probably couldn’t understand everything she was saying. She just nodded at her with the warmest possible smile and hooped her arm with her’s. She rested her hand on her arm and gave it a pat. “You’re okay, I promise.” She nodded at her and began to walk.
She guided her into the warm corridor, and then turned into the even warmer hall. It was empty. Dinner had ended ages ago, she assumed, but there was always something to eat on the long brown tables. She took her to the Hufflepuff table and set her down slowly. She then grabbed a plate and piled it with breads and fruits and set it in front of her. “Eat.”

Even though being seen wasn’t exactly her worst nightmare right now, she still felt extremely uncomfortable when she found herself facing a girl- a beautiful english girl. Her head snapped up, and her gracious doll face stiffened out immediately, not wanted to look even weaker in front of a new person.
She straightened out a bit, grabbing the hem of her coat’s sleeve and hastily wiping her face and making sure to get under her eyes too. “Yes. I’m fine” she croaked, hoping it was the right thing to say to someone in a situation like this. Even though her accent was very strong and Russian, it was different. Not thick and aggressive, but rather and surprisingly gentle as it rolled off her tongue. She also never spoke in an attack like voice, which helped a lot.
She watched the girl look up at her, and she felt sorry for her. What could upset this girl enough to make her come sit outside and cry? She hesitated for a moment before reaching in her pocket to pull out a tissue. She held it in her hand for a moment before taking a step forward, and squatting down besides her. She began to dab her cheeks to pick up the moisture and the running makeup.
“Pardon me, I don’t mean to be rude, but you’re not okay if you’re out here crying.” She gave her a smile, biting her lip. She stood up when she was done cleaning her cheeks; she shoved the tissue in her pocket. “You don’t have to tell me what’s wrong, just at least let me take you into the Great Hall to be warm.”
